Laughter is medicine! And yes, it’s welcome here...

June 19, 2026 Anna O'Keeffe

When we laugh, the body softens, the breath deepens. The nervous system shifts out of survival mode Even if just for a moment… that moment matters.

In healing spaces, we often expect things to feel heavy, serious or even overwhelming.

That’s not the full picture.

Yes, this work can be deep. Yes, it can bring up big emotions, but it can also feel light playful and surprisingly joyful.

Laughter creates connection. It reminds your body that it’s safe to be here. Safe to feel. Safe to soften.

In my sessions, we honour it all. The tears, the releases, the breakthroughs, AND the laughter.

Because sometimes a moment of laughter is exactly what you need to integrate, reset, and come back to centre.

Yes, I’m a Kinesiologist but here’s what I love about my work... →

I would like to acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the land on which I live, the Woodi Woodi people of the Dharawal nation. I recognise and appreciate their deep connection to this earth. I acknowledge and pay respect to their elders past, present and emerging and extend my respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. I would like to pay tribute to their ancient and powerful traditional healing methods, that continue to be passed down from generation to generation.
