This peaceful version of me exists but so does the messy, exhausted, overstretched, frustrated version.
People often assume that because I work in health & wellness and my work is supporting others, or that because I have practices and tools to self regulate, that I must always be calm. That is not the case.
Yes, I have practices that support me but it doesn’t me I have it all figured out. It doesn’t mean I don’t lose my sh*t and that’s OK. We’re not meant to be regulated all the time.
